What does the SoundSleep for Babies CD sound like?
The Sound Sleep for Babies CD ( formerly known as the Baby Sleep System CD ) sounds like nothing you've ever heard. It is - in essence - the sound your baby experienced inside the womb, which – to the ear – sounds like a low rumble that is so soothing that it defies description. The Sound Sleep for Babies CD then adds a digitally-recorded mother's heartbeat, beating at a fully rested heart rate. Finally, the addition of a carefully-crafted, soothing ambient slow-motion soundtrack, low in pitch, and gradually slowing over time creates WombEffect™ phenomenon.
Listen to the Difference
To us, it sounds very different, and almost biological, but to a newborn infant, the familiar sound of the womb immediately lulls the baby into a feeling of safety, of quiet and of comfort. While babies are exposed to this sound, they can fall asleep quicker and stay asleep much longer, and they very likely will actually sleep through the night ! Even if your baby isn't ready to fall asleep, the BabySleep System will quiet them down and feel more relaxed. In most cases, the fussiness and crying will stop immediately.
Here's the Proof
You will feel this difference, guaranteed. Listen to the audio clip below. This time, the music stops abruptly at the end of the sound clip. Notice how your body feels when it stops. Your body gets used to the sound and wants to hear more! Turn it up loud enough to 'feel' the low frequency rumble (this works best on a system with a subwoofer or adequate full range speakers). Notice how your body feels when it stops abruptly.
Your body quickly adjusts to the sound, and goes into an immediate state of deep relaxation. It is NOT advisable to play this CD while driving in a car, especially if you are already tired or relaxed.
Note: Although it will sound beautiful on any system, it's best if played on a speaker system with average or better-than-average bass response so your baby can feel the rumble of the womb sounds.
